Ralph Vargas formed this car club of friends,
a Non-for-Profit organization February 2010 to have friends and car enthusiasts get together and enjoy ourselves with our toys at events and cruises.
That passion for Classic cars and desire to be part of a cool car club pushed Ralph toward the creation of "Desert Cruisers Car Club of Imperial Valley".
Our Club is open to all years and types of cars or bikes.
While living in Imperial Valley we participated in several events as we now
do in Yuma, Az., such as Fundraisers, holiday Parades, "Freedom Fest" a 4th of July
Celebration at IVC and other community events throughout our Imperial Valley.
We've participated as a team for 15 years as
Executive Committee Planning and Members of the
American Cancer Society Annual El Centro Relay for Life 24-Hour walk.
Ralph was Logistics Chair & Team Coordinator. Alicia was On-line Chair, Media Chair, Team Captain & Team Development and is California Volunteer Legislative Ambassador.
Our dear friends Jim O'Coyne lost his battle to Cancer, 7-16-2010,
Bob Brodell lost his battle 10-25-2010, Steve Wilkinson lost his battle on
3-17-2014, Mike Quinn RIP 10-10-16...they will be dearly missed.
Our thoughts and prayers to their families. We will continue to Relay in their memory and in Honor of all winning the battle.
We continue to donate to anyone seeking our help as we are also with group
W.I.N.O Workers in Name Only in Yuma Arizona
